課程概述

This course covers history taking and physical examination through lecture and clinical practicum in which students practice physical assessment skills in clinical skill center and clinical settings. The course includes interviewing skills, obtaining a health history, physical exam techniques for various body systems, and documentation of findings. The course is required for NP program of graduate students in the first year of study.  

課程目標
 At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

1. Demonstrate the ability of using interview, communication, and physical assessment skills to assess the health problem of patients
2. Demonstrate the ability of describing and documenting the findings of physical assessment
3. Demonstrate the ability of accurately completing a physical examination and identifying abnormal findings using a diagnostic reasoning process in clinical practicum.
 
課程要求
 Fall Semester
Wednesday 1:30-5:30 pm at Nursing Building I Room 301, NTUH 3 Floor skill labs 操作教室 for weekly test and wards in NTUH (Time schedule will be changed by instructors’ OPD schedules)
